Serving in the Armed Forces overseas can really make service members yearn for a piece of home. If you’ll be sending a care package to your friend or loved one currently serving in the military, be aware that the shipping time frame is sneaking up fast!
While standard recommended USPS shipping times begin at December 2nd this year, for overseas military personnel, shipping times begin as early as November 8th, depending on the APO / FPO zip codes that are assigned to your service member’s address.
As a bonus, the USPS is giving a $2 discount on its largest Priority Mail box when sent to APO, FPO, and DPO addresses.
