In the video, we see Johnny Mathis lip-syncing along to his famous version of the Christmas hit “It’s The Most Wonderful Time of The Year” while a stage full of party-goers dances and grins ear-to-ear.
This is a clip from the 1993 David Foster Christmas Album TV Special, which had a full cast of famous singers performing Christmas classics. It’s hard to find a recording of the program, but OceanKingNY on Youtube has uploaded many clips. Some have different music than the TV special and some have been muted due to copyright claims, but some clips are available in full, like the Johnny Mathis performance, BeBe and CeCe Winans, and Tom Jones.
It’s a great trip down memory lane back into Christmas in the ’90s!
