One big sign that Christmas is on its way is the arrival of the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree! The 78 foot tall, 10 ton Norway spruce from Ulster County, New York arrived in NYC in the early hours of November 6th, and preparations are underway to stand the tree in its rightful place above the Rockefeller Center ice skating rink.
Starting now, the tree will be prepared and decorated for the next month, and the full unveiling will be the tree lighting event on December 2, 2015, which is open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.
Did you know? This is the 83rd Rockefeller Center Christmas tree!
